Efeitos da privação alimentar de 48 horas na resposta de fase aguda em cavalos

Resumo O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o efeito da restrição alimentar na resposta de fase aguda em equinos. Vinte cavalos foram submetidos à por 48 h enquanto outros 12 animais (controle) tiveram livre acesso água e alimento. Em conclusão, é um fator estressor físico para equinos, capaz induzir reação proteica aguda, pelo aumento produção α2-macroglobulina, ceruloplasmina, α1-antitripsina, haptoglobina.
